Cocktails inspirés de ma vie quotidienne

Café Québécois

I have asked most of my friends, and several family members, if anybody was planning an outing to the sugar shack this year. Unfortunately, it seems that such a visit is in nobody’s calendar this season.

eau erable

I won’t get to see this.

I decided that I was going to celebrate Maple Syrup Season anyways. I have lots of syrup at home, and there are several interesting cocktails that come to mind when I think of this precious ingredient.

I often prepare myself either an Irish, or a Brazilain coffee when I am in the mood for dessert, and that I have no time to bake something.

So, for my first Maple Syrup Season posts, I chose to create my personal version of the Québécois Coffee.

125 ml coffee

30 ml Brandy

30 ml milk

15 ml  maple syrup

Top with whipped cream

I made a little bit more whipped cream than necessary… In case I had a craving later on tonight.

The perfect dessert for a cold Saturday evening.

You know single life doesn’t look so bad after reading your blogs. A fancy drink like this will keep me well entertained.

Ha ha ha! Everything is more tolerable when you have a drink in your hand…Unfortunate that you should live so far away…I always make at least two…
