Cocktails inspirés de ma vie quotidienne

Peggy’s Brandy Alexander

All week, I was trying to decide which MAD MEN character was going to inspire my Sunday drink.  I really wanted to choose Betty, because I think we do not see her enough so far this season.

Of course, the obvious choice was Peggy Olson.  In last week’s episode, Peggy  beat her old boss and mentor at what he does best, and won the Heinz Ketchup account with her catsup vs. Ketchup pitch.

This made me think of how much Peggy has evolved since the beginning of the series. It made me want to go back in time. This is how I remembered the bad dinner date Peggy had with Carl Winter in the Indian Summer episode from Season One.

She does not even stay long enough to finish her Brandy Alexander…What a shame.
